Ans : Udyog Aadhar is the name of registration Certificate obtained under MSME Act. In the recent time, Govt has announced many benefits which are focused on benefitting the MSME in an organised manner. These benefits are available only then a person is registered under Udyog Aadhar.

Traders are not eligible for MSME benefits and accordingly, they cannot register under the Udyog Aadhar.
Ans : Any individual having a valid Aadhar card can apply for Udyog Aadhar Registration of their Firm/Company/Organisation. However, only a running enterprise can apply for the registration.
Ans : No documents are required for Udyog Aadhar Registration if your mobile number is linked to your Aadhar card.
In case it is not linked, we will need to submit a copy of your PAN Card or Aadhar Card along the application.
Ans : You will get your Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate immediately on your email after we apply for registration using your details.However, in case Aadhar card is not linked to mobile, then it may take upto a day to obtain the Registration Certificate.
Ans : Upon receiving all your information and application, our executives will call and email you to confirm your information. You will be further requested to provide OTPs sent on the Mobile number linked to your Aadhar. Upon successful verification of your Aadhar your Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate will be generated and sent to your email.
Ans : Udyog Aadhar Certificate is an e-certificate and the Govt. does not issue any physical copy of the certificate. The online certificate sent to you on your Email is valid everywhere.
Ans : SSI & MSME were earlier names of Udyog Aadhar Registration. These have been discontinued and are replaced by Udyog Aadhar Registration.
Ans : Applications do not get rejected. The information you provide is considered true to your knowledge and the same is recorded on your Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate.
Ans : The government has recently updated the eligibility criteria for Udyog Aadhar registration. It is summarised below for reference.
Ans : You need to make sure that your Aadhar card is validated. If not, you will need to get the same validated from your nearest UIDAI (Aadhar) centre. We are not responsible if your Aadhar card is not validated and results in your Udyog Aadhar not being generated.
Ans : In case you do not have a bank account opened for your Firm/ Organization/ Company, you may enter the personal bank account details of the Proprietor or any of the Partner/Director of the Firm/Company. These details can be changed later in the certificate once the bank account is opened using this Udyog Aadhar / MSME Registration Certificate.
Ans : Some of the benefits available post registration under Udyog Aadhar are summarised below. Apart from those listed below, there are many other benefits provided by the different govt. bodies for specific industries.
  1. After registering their MSME, the applicant will receive the benefits of all the government schemes such as an easy loan, loan without guarantee, loans with subsidized rates of interest etc.
  2. The applicant will receive financial support for participating in foreign expos to showcase their products.
  3. Registration would facilitate hassle-free opening of current bank accounts in the name of the business.
  4. It would also allow businesses to apply for government micro business loans and other such related beneficial schemes.
  5. The MSME holders also get rebate and concessions on registration of Trademark and Patents.
With the recent thrust on development of MSMEs by Govt of India, registration under Udyog Aadhar has become very important. The primary reason is the ability to avail the benefits being provided by the Govt.
